Who does the programming
- We ask for a list of staff and the associated base building card number and program accordingly.
- We would also ask for the various permission to be granted to all staff members. For example, only the IT people are allowed into the comm’s room.
- We train you on adjusting the permission as required or we are happy to come out and do this for you.
What is access control
- It is essentially a way to manage who can get through a door and when.
- We use cards, facial recognition, fobs, PIN numbers and/or a combination of all depending on the security required.
Can we use base building cards
- Yes we always use base building cards so your staff just have one card. For example, to operate after hours, the building garage, front entry door, lift and your tenancy.
Can I segregate permissions
- Different staff member can be granted individual permission and time to access various areas.
What’s the best electric lock
- This generally depends on the type of door, door frame and security required.
- We generally use electric strike, magnetic locks, electric mortice locks and drop bolts.
Which card reader should I use
- This is generally determined by the base buildings system so your staff only need to carry one card.
Should I use other technology like facial recognition
- Each situation, requirement and level of security and convenience is different.
- That’s why we do a free details appraisal of your premises and requirements.
Are the cards encrypted
- Base building cards would generally have a layer of encryption.
- We can add extra technology and further encryption as required.
Can I add and delete staff
- We train you to be fully competent in managing the entire system.
